“Forever People” is an interactive public art narrative told through a series of phone messages. The project was featured on NPR and was awarded the American Public Art Award Year in Review Award 2011.
The project was commissioned by Art in the Loop and presented on their ARTwall located at downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Audio episodes were updated every-other-week and ran for nine months.
“Forever People” is a science-fiction story about a a nameless couple sending recorded messages into the past to prevent a dystopian future. However the two begin to use the recordings to confess their struggles of sustaining a relationship amid holographic love affairs and android rivalries.
